The Iowa State Fair was a few weeks ago. The state fair is pretty new to me. Growing up in Sioux City, we never went to the fair. But if you live in Des Moines, you HAVE to go. I don't know why... it's the same thing every year. The food is ok - I'd rather eat at McDonalds.

Did you know that you can sell a price winning pig for $64,000? It has to be a breeder pig that has good piggy sperm to knock up all the ladies. I knew I should have been in FFA!!!!
What color ribbon did you win with your 'cow'? He looks pretty thin! The cotton candy made me jealous, I just can't get myself to order one to eat all by myself- I miss having kids around! Mike's meatballs on a stick look questionable!
